This Valentine’s Day season, visit Chanticleer for a special workshop about writing nontraditional love letters—not only romantic letters, but one for a friend or any loved one.
We’ll use storytelling techniques to make our letters come alive with detail and originality, and we’ll talk about love for nature, and finding inspiration in the garden. We’ll read poems and prose, and seal our love letters with wax seals. The class fee includes stationery for your completed love letters. Please dress warmly as the class will include a walk through the garden to experience the unconventional beauty of the winter landscape.

Our parking lot holds 120 cars and can fill on weekends and Friday evenings. Please car pool and understand once we reach capacity, you will need to wait until the parking staff directs you to an open spot or plan to visit at a non-peak time.
