Tri-County Concert with pianist Avery Gagliano

We’re excited to open this season’s Emerging Artists Series with the amazing Avery Gagliano on October 4 at 3 pm at Main Line Unitarian Church, performing piano works by Schumann, Rzewski, Kirchner, and Fauré.  Avery first rose to international acclaim as the winner of the first prize and best concerto prize at the 2020 National Chopin Piano Competition.  She has since appeared on renowned concert stages, at leading festivals, with well-known chamber musicians, and as a soloist with numerous orchestras, as well as on broadcasts across the U.S. and Europe, including on NPR’s From the Top and American Public Media’s Performance Today, where she was a 2024 Young Artist in Residence.  Her concerts have been praised as “dazzling” (South Florida Classical Review) and “truly impressive” (Hyde Park Herald).  A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, where she studied with Robert McDonald, Gary Graffman, and Jonathan Biss, Avery currently studies with Sir András Schiff at Kronberg Academy in Germany.Tr
