Vivaldissimo 2026

The traditional fall Vivaldi concert is a celebration of instrumental works by the Venetian master featuring a superb selection from his immense repertoire. Vivaldi wrote more than 500 concertos for various instruments (mostly for violin), and in this program, stellar soloists will perform exciting solo concertos for oboe, flute, violin, and trumpet, and will combine for two exciting double concertos, for oboe and flute and for oboe and trumpet. Three sinfonias, sometimes referred to as concertos for strings without soloist, complete this outstanding program. And introducing each work are Maestro’s customary “live notes.”
