•From Brick-Oven Pizza to Retro-Italian Luxury — Wayne’s Old Bertucci’s is Getting a Dramatic Facelift
The Main Line dining scene is about to get a major upgrade. If you have driven down Lancaster Avenue in Wayne recently, you have likely noticed construction at the old Bertucci’s building. The familiar, casual pizza spot at 523 W. Lancaster Ave. is officially getting a massive facelift. In its place, Fearless Restaurants is bringing us Martini & Roz—an upscale, contemporary Italian concept that will celebrate the fusion of American and Southern Italian flavors and traditions.
Fearless Restaurants—the visionary team behind Main Line favorites like White Dog Cafe, Autograph Brasserie, and Rosalie—initially planned to put a second Testa Rossa location here. Instead, they pivoted to a brand-new, deeply personal concept. Named in honor of general partner Marty Grims’ parents, Martin and Roslyn.
Slated to open in late summer or early fall 2026, the stunning 300-seat venue will replace casual pizza vibes with “Italian Retro-Futurism” decor, featuring a 180-guest dining room, a lively 20-seat bar, a 70-seat outdoor patio, and an interactive 20-seat chef’s tasting counter. Shifting away from heavy sauces, the menu will include a dedicated mozzarella bar, house-made shared pastas, artisanal wood-fired pizzas and more!
Construction is underway, with the grand opening targeted for late summer or early fall 2026.
Martini & Roz will be located at 523 W. Lancaster Ave., Wayne.
